At the University of Regina, you have a chance to be part of something bigger. Come share our vision to reflect the world in which we want to live — a world that values empowered citizens, generates high-impact scholarships and embraces Canada’s diversity.

We offer over 120 different programs through 10 faculties. This means that whether you’re a poet or a chemist, you prefer to work with your hands, or you’d rather contemplate Plato, you’re a team player or a solo act, the U of R has a path for you!

We like to say that the U of R is the “goldilocks option” for students. As a medium-sized institution, we are able to offer the smaller class options and community of a small town, with the research scope, program diversity, and amenities of a city. It really is a “best of both worlds” scenario!

Connect with us to discover a community of achievers, partners, explorers, innovators, and your home away from home.

May 4 - 1:30 PM

University of Regina will be on Feed A

Join us for a presentation about program options, campus life, and admission requirements at the U of R!

Admission Tips

Most of our programs require a minimum of 70% admission average to be accepted, but it is always important that students check our admission requirements prior to application. Each of our 10 faculties of study has different required high school classes, admission requirements, and averages. But not to worry! Students are always welcome to book an enrolment counselling appointment with us to chat about admission requirements. We are here to help!

Campus Life

Living on campus is comfortable, convenient, and fun! Just think of how nice it would be to roll out of bed, toss on your favourite hoodie, and be in class in 5 minutes. With six different buildings and 1,800 rooms to choose from, we know that there is a perfect room for you! Whether you select dorm-style or apartment-style housing, all our residents enjoy their own private bedrooms so you can retreat to your own space at the end of the day.

Our lively campus is perfect for social butterflies. But if you are more of a wallflower, don’t despair – our campus is perfect for you too! After all, flowers and butterflies go together like peanut butter and jam. With nearly 120 student clubs and societies at the U of R, there’s sure to be something that piques your interest. Can’t find the perfect club? The University of Regina Student Union (URSU) will gladly accommodate new clubs, and even help you set up funding!

We also proudly support a number of events that celebrate the rich multicultural heritage of our campus and student body.

Accessibility Supports

The Centre for Student Accessibility (CSA) provides services and support to enable students with permanent or temporary disabilities, health conditions, and injuries to approach their students in an equal and effective manner. By registering with the CSA, students can meet with an accessibility advisor to review documentation, determine appropriate accommodations, assist in accessing funding for accessibility-related supports/services, and more! We recently built a state-of-the-art Accommodations Test Centre (ATC). The ATC aims to provide a consistent testing environment for students registered with the CSA to ensure students are supported in their academic pursuits. In addition to a combination of private and shared workspaces, text to speech and speech to text software, scribes are also available as needed.
